About IHIP Portal Guide
Who runs this independent guide to IHIP, IDSP and HMIS.
IHIP Portal Guide is an independent information website. It is not run by, affiliated with or endorsed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the National Health Mission, any state health department or the developers of IHIP.
This site has no login. We never ask for an IHIP, IDSP or HMIS user ID, password or OTP, and we never ask for patient names, phone numbers or case details.
What we do
IHIP Portal Guide explains India's disease surveillance and health reporting systems in plain language for ANMs, MPWs, medical officers, lab staff and data managers: which form is whose, when the reporting week runs, what the terms mean and where the official manuals are. Every guide links to the official source.
What we do not do
- We do not create, unlock or reset IHIP accounts.
- We do not enter, store or see any surveillance data.
- We do not give medical advice or replace official guidelines and training.
How we check facts
Facts come from official manuals, NCDC and MoHFW pages and Press Information Bureau releases. Where a fact is only reported by the news or is our own observation, we say so. Read our fact-checking policy.
